Pairs perfectly with beer!
Recipe background: I wanted something different from just salted edamame.
Steps

Rinse the edamame pods quickly under running water. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and boil the edamame for about 3 minutes. Drain in a colander.

Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a frying pan. Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, then add the boiled edamame and stir-fry briefly.

Add cumin, garam masala, salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Stir-fry until well combined, then serve!
