Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 3-4 packsudon noodles
  2. 1 stalkgreen onion
  3. 1carrot
  4. 1/2 bunchgarlic chives (nira)
  5. 2green bell peppers
  6. as neededBacon,
  7. Seasonings
  8. 1 tablespoonJapanese-style granulated soup stock (dashi)
  9. 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  10. 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  11. Bonito flakes, as much as you like
  12. 2-3 tablespoonswater

Steps

  1. 1

    Stir-fry pork, sausage, bacon, or any meat you have at home. Slice any vegetables you have into thin strips and stir-fry them as well.

    While stir-frying, add the Japanese-style granulated soup stock. Then add the udon noodles, pour in the water, cover, and steam-fry.

    When most of the water has evaporated, add the oyster sauce and soy sauce. Mix everything together until well combined.

  4. 4

    Top with bonito flakes when serving.
