Ingredients

Serves 5 servings
  • 10 1/2 ozedamame (in pods)
  • 1 tablespoonsalt (for rubbing)
  • 8 1/2 cupswater (for boiling)
  • 2 tablespoonssalt (for boiling)

Steps

  1. 1

    Remove the edamame from the stems and wash well. Sprinkle with salt and rub thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Add water to a pot and bring to a boil. Add the boiling salt and edamame, and boil for about 3 minutes until cooked through.

  3. 3

    Drain the water, serve on a plate, and enjoy!
