These dumplings are super easy—just fold and seal! The shrimp are plump and delicious. Pan-fry until golden and serve with ponzu or a mayo mixed with gochujang.

These dumplings are super easy—just fold and seal! The shrimp are plump and delicious. Pan-fry until golden and serve with ponzu or a mayo mixed with gochujang.

Steps

Cut the shrimp into 5 or 6 pieces each.

Roughly chop the shiso leaves.

In a bowl, combine the shrimp, shiso, and the seasonings marked with ◯.

Place some of the mixture onto each dumpling wrapper.

Fold the wrapper in half and seal the edge with the cornstarch slurry.

Heat oil in a skillet and pan-fry one side of the dumplings until golden brown.

Flip the dumplings, add a little water, cover, and steam over low heat for 2 minutes.

Remove the lid, add a little toasted sesame oil, and crisp both sides until golden.

Plate and serve. Enjoy with ponzu or mayo mixed with gochujang if you like. (Shrimp and mayo are a great combo!)
