In a pan add milk and boil.

To this add sugar. Mix well till sugar dissolves.

Drain all water and grind the basmati rice coarsely. Add into milk and stir continuously as no lump should form.

Remove pulp of mangoes.Grind mango pulp and cardamom pods.

Add mango pulp and mix well till it thickens. Add dryfruits and switch off gas and cool down completely.

Pour phirni in earthern pots and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.

Serve chilled.
