A super healthy Brunch or a wholesome family snack that is made by me for just about any day with Black Quinoa and Sweet Potatoes.
You will love the medley of flavours in these yummy Cutlets. Black Quinoa is a great option on any day without a doubt. It helps maintain a healthy body and aids in weight management. It also promotes a healthy digestive system. It's rich in Fibre and Protein just like other varieties of Quinoa. Helps in muscle growth and takes a little bit longer to cook.
Just like Red Quinoa, this one also holds it's beautiful colour after being cooked. And both are much sweeter and have earthy taste and flavour compared to the White Quinoa.
All in all these little grains or seeds are absolutely healthy, wholesome and nutritious for the whole family. Try these super tempting and colourful Cutlets with a simple homemade Mayo and Ketchup Dip that goes extremely well alongside them.

Steps
- 1
Soak black quinoa in enough drinking water for an hour atleast. Cover and set aside. After an hour, cook it until done on a medium high heat keeping a watchful eye on it. Leave it to cool after it's done. For a cup of Quinoa, 2 cups of water is needed.
- 2
Meanwhile boil sweet potatoes too. Peel the skin and combine them with the cooked black quinoa and the other ingredients as mentioned.
- 3
Shape them into cutlets and shallow fry until done. These get done quickly. There is no need to over cook them. Please ensure that these are cooked on both the sides.
- 4
Serve alongside mayo and ketchup dip for a healthy Brunch or a wholesome family snack at Tea-time. Enjoy!
