Tal Sherbat

Ice apple or tal is a summer season fruit. There are three ice apple pieces within a hard cover. In Odisha we call this fruit as ' tal saja'. The young tal fruit is soft, sweet with lots of water content.
I have prepared a Sherbat out of ice apple with Rhu-hafja and chia seeds as main ingredients. The Sherbat is delicious, nourishing and refreshing.P.S. I have not used sugar as the ice apple pieces are too sweet .

Steps

Soak 1 Tbsp of chia seeds in water as required. Take the herbal syrup in a small glass.

Wash the ice apples and remove the outer skin carefully. Chop into small pieces and blend them. Keep 2 Tsp ice apple separate.

Add Rhu-hafja, Bit salt, white salt, Amla dry powder, dry ginger powder, and chilled milk (as required) blend to a smooth paste.

In a serving glass keep 2 Tbsp chopped ice apple, add the blended ice apple drink. Garnish with dried rose petals and serve fresh. Thanks.
