Roughly chop the onion, put the onion, green peas, Maggi bouillon and water in a pot, heat and simmer until the onion is soft.

Blend in a blender or food processor until smooth. Add butter and milk, and heat again while stirring.

Once the soup is warm, serve in serving bowls and garnish with whipped cream and parsley as desired.
It is also delicious garnished with fried onions and croutons.
