Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pre-heat oven to 350*
Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper. - 2
On the baking sheet lay out nuts, sesame seeds, fennel, coriander, and cumin. Spread seasoning and mixtures of nuts out evenly move to oven and let toast in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure to check periodically to ensure they do not burn.
- 3
Once nuts are done and moved out of the oven transferred to a food processor. Add brown sugar, salt, paprika, and turmeric. Pulse mixture on high until you obtain a grainy consistency. You do not want to blend as the mixture should still have some chunks of mixed nuts. Transfer mixture into an airtight container.

This is great on a variety of recipes such as a topping for salad, hummus, and vegetables. It also is great on meat dishes if you are looking for a middle eastern kick to your dish. Optionally if you would like to add some spice you can add in some cayenne pepper. However, for this recipe, I prefer to keep it on the sweet and savory side.
