I was watching a cooking competition TV show, when the contestants were given a fillet of white fish to cook. Eight of the ten contestants used a tandoori spice. I had never tried cooking with the spice, so I gave it a shot on some perch my husband had caught. He loved it.

1 tspground cumin
1 tspground coriander
1 tsppaprika
1 tspturmeric
1 tspsalt
1 tspcayenne pepper
1/3 cupwhite vinager
1/2 cupvegetables oil
yogurt

Add all dry ingredients and mix together.

You can add the vinager and oil and store. Or wait until you are ready to use and add.

I marinade the chicken or fish by rubbing on yogurt then the tandoori spice. Marinade for, at least 4-hours.
