Our family's version of mapo tofu isn't spicy and is finished with eggs! It might not be traditional mapo tofu, but this is how we make it at home!

Thinly slice the onion, cut the carrot into thin half-moon slices, and cut the green bell peppers into thin strips.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the ground meat, onion, carrot, and green bell peppers, and sauté.
- 3
Add the seasonings and continue to sauté. (Season a bit strongly since you'll be adding tofu.)

Cut the tofu into cubes, add to the pan, cover, and simmer.
- 5
Beat the eggs, pour them into the pan, cover, and cook until the eggs are set.
