Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 7 oz (200 g)ground beef and pork mix
  2. 1onion
  3. 1carrot
  4. 2green bell peppers
  5. 1 block(about 14 oz/400g) silken tofu
  6. 2eggs
  7. Seasonings
  8. 3 tablespoonssugar (about 36g)
  9. 1 tablespoonwhite dashi (about 15ml)
  10. 3 tablespoonssoy sauce (about 45ml)
  11. 2 tablespoonswater (about 30ml)

Steps

  1. 1

    Thinly slice the onion, cut the carrot into thin half-moon slices, and cut the green bell peppers into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the ground meat, onion, carrot, and green bell peppers, and sauté.

  3. 3

    Add the seasonings and continue to sauté. (Season a bit strongly since you'll be adding tofu.)

  4. 4

    Cut the tofu into cubes, add to the pan, cover, and simmer.

    Beat the eggs, pour them into the pan, cover, and cook until the eggs are set.
