Chapati is A favorite dish for many Kenyans as it's always a great accompaniment for tea,soup,stew and vegetables

Sift together flour,salt,sugar in a bowl.Stir in cooking oil and water and knead until firm and elastic

Cover the dough and leave it for 30 minutes

Roll flat the dough using rolling pin and brush the big chapati with oil

Start folding and rolling the big chapati with both hands

Once you have a shape which looks like a rope,create a coil like shape

Make coiled balls

Roll the coiled ball as flat as possible on a flat surface to a circular shape

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and place the rolled out chapati

Fry each side until golden brown
- 10
Put the cooked chapati in a container and cover.Serve after 10 minutes accompanied with your favorite dish.Mine had with cabbage and kamande(lentils)
