1round sheet of puff pastry
1 cupcherry tomatoes (about 150 grams)
12 1/3 ouncesmozzarella (about 350 grams)
2 tablespoonsbasil pesto
Salt, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil to taste

Preheat the convection oven to 350°F. Place the puff pastry in a round baking pan and prick it with a fork. Slice the cherry tomatoes and put them in a bowl; season with salt, oregano, and olive oil. Slice the mozzarella and pat it dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Spread the 2 tablespoons of basil pesto over the puff pastry, then arrange the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella slices alternately on top. Add a little more salt, oregano, and olive oil, and bake for about 40 minutes. And voilà, our caprese savory tart is ready to be enjoyed, perhaps served with a couple of fresh basil leaves.
