Ingredients used: Pabda fish
Steps

Smear the pabda fishes with salt and turmeric powder.

Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the pabda fishes.

Once done remove from pan and keep aside.

Now heat mustard oil in the same pan.

Prepare a masala paste with ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder.

Once the oil is hot add kalonji

Once it splutters, add the prepared masala paste.

Once oil separates from the pan, add the finely chopped tomatoes

Add turmeric powder, 1/4 cup water and 2 slit green chillies.

Add the fried pabda fishes and let it simmer and boil for 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh chopped coriander.

Remove from stove and serve hot with steamed white rice.
