Spicy Potato Croissant

These stuffed potato crescent rolls are an excellent lunch box recipe for the kids. You can use your own creative ideas on the stuffing, the sky is the limit. I used simple boiled potatoes,onion and flavoured spices. It is easy for the kids to have on the short lunch break without making a mess.

These stuffed potato crescent rolls are an excellent lunch box recipe for the kids. You can use your own creative ideas on the stuffing, the sky is the limit. I used simple boiled potatoes,onion and flavoured spices. It is easy for the kids to have on the short lunch break without making a mess.
Steps

For Stuffing..
Steam Boil the potatoes,peel the skin and mash them.
Now add all the spices together with onion and fresh coriander.
Mix well.
Stuffing is ready. - 2
For the dough..
Add Wheat flour and corn flour.
Add oil, Carom seeds and salt.mix it
Add water and knead semi soft dough.
Give rest for five minutes.
After that roll the big thin chapati with the help of dry flour. - 3
Put a small bowl in the centre of the Chapati and spread the potato mixture in an empty area.level it.
Now remove the bowl and give a triangle shape with a pizza cutter as shown in the picture.
Roll each triangle like in a croissant shape. Make all. - 4
Heat the oil.
Fry the croissants on medium hot oil till they fry well and crunchy.
Remove on kitchen paper. - 5
Serving Time..
Place all the croissants in the dish.
Serve with the green chutney and tomato sauce..
