Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is incomplete without Modak.This year I made besan Modak filled with the flavour of green cardamom,almond and pistachio.It is very tasty.

Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is incomplete without Modak.This year I made besan Modak filled with the flavour of green cardamom,almond and pistachio.It is very tasty.
Steps

Heat ghee in a heavy bottom karahi,add besan and fry on low to medium heat until golden brown.Keep on stirring.Transfer it in a plate.Let it cool.

Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan,add almond and fry.Keep it aside.

In the same pan add pistachio and lightly fry.Keep it aside.

Grind green cardamom with some bura.Remove the cover of cardamom. Grind yo a fine powder.

Now mix roasted besan, almond,,cardamom and bura.Mix it well.

Take a modak mould,place pistachio in it and fill it with besan mixture tightly.Now take out the modak carefully.

Your delicious modak for bhog is ready.Offer Bappa His favourite sweet.
