Cooking Instructions

Wash the peanuts in cold water thoroughly. Boil some water as soon as it starts boiling Blanche the peanuts for about a minute. Drain and set aside.

Place the oil in a large wok and while the oil is still cold place all the garlic in the oil. Keep the heat in medium. If you are using chili you may add this now with the garlic. Once the garlic turns golden brown turn off the fire and immediately remove them from the wok and set aside.

Clean the oil by removing any left over garlic then turn the stove back on low flame and pour the peanuts into the oil. Fry for 15 to 20 minutes.

Once the peanuts turns around copper colors remove and strain any excess oil by placing a paper towel in a large bowl and pour the peanuts into the bowl. Season with salt and mix thoroughly. Add a bit of white sugar.

Add the dried garlic and Chili and mix thoroughly. If desired you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Let it cool and once it’s cold you can place it in your desired containers. Share and enjoy!
