French onion beef and noodles

Ingredients

  1. 2 Tbsolive oil or avocado oil
  2. 1.25-1.5 poundsbeef stew meat
  3. 1 tsponion powder
  4. 1 Tbsgarlic powder
  5. To taste: salt & pepper
  6. 1 canFrench onion soup, I used Progresso
  7. 3 cupsbeef broth
  8. 12 ozegg noodles
  9. 1/4 cupmozzarella cheese, shredded (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat.
    Add the beef and season with the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is cooked on all sides. Add French onion soup an beef broth to the pot and bring to a simmer. Add a little more pepper if you like. Bring up to a boil then turn down heat to medium low (simmer). Simmer, with lid for 1 hr 15 minutes to 1.5 hours, until meat is tender.

    Add egg noodles and mix around. Add noodles and cook for 10 minutes, add any more seasonings if you like. Add mozzarella cheese, you can mix if you like or put the lid on and it will melt on its own.
