  • 15 gmButter
  • 1 tbspOil
  • 1Onion medium
  • Garlic clove 1
  • 1 tspCumin powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • Large pinch of chilli powder
  • 8 piecesChicken
  • 397 gmTomatoes
  • 1 tbspTomato puree
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspBlack pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat butter and oil together.

    Add in onion and garlic and fry till onion is translucent.

    Add in cumin,coriander and chilli powder and stir for a minute.

    Add in chicken and cook till it changes colour.

    Add in tomatoes,puree,salt and pepper.

    Cook covered on low flame for 30 minutes till chicken is tender and a thick gravy is left.

    Serve hot.
