Soak kala chana overnight.

Heat a pressure cooker. Add mustard oil. Let it warm at smoking point. Lower the flame. Add cumin seeds and dry red chillies. Let them crackle. Add sliced onion and fry till light brown.Add ginger garlic paste. Saute 1 minute.

Add chickpeas, saute 1 minute and add all powdered spices. Saute few seconds. Add salt and one cup water. Pressure cook for 5-6 minutes on low medium flame.

After 5-6 minutes, put off flame and let the pressure release itself. After pressire release open the lid. Dry liquid if any. Saute few seconds. Add chopped coriander leaves.

Bihari style chana ghugni is ready to be served. Enjoy.
