Easy Pre-made Polenta

So I saw a package of pre-made polenta and I wondered what it was so I got it, looking for something new to try. After I got home, all I could find was complicated (at least to me they were) recipes for this. Someone told me that it basically was another form of Grits, so I said the heck with it, I'll just wing it. Here is my creation that I actually enjoy now. I hope you can enjoy it too

Steps
- 1
I used olive oil in the bottom of my frying pan and brought it to medium heat
- 2
Empty Polenta into pan and use a fork to chop up into fairly small clumps
- 3
Add butter and continue to stir and "mash" up the clumps
- 4
Add salt to taste and keep stirring until it is hot all the way through and no more clumps remain.
- 5
Add cheese and remove from heat.
- 6
Serve and enjoy!
