Cut the phyllo dough and spread it in a baking dish. Bake until golden brown.

Lightly grease the baking dish with butter. Add a layer of phyllo dough, then a layer of mixed nuts, then another layer of phyllo dough. Repeat the layers as desired.

Dissolve sugar in milk, then pour the mixture over the phyllo layers.

Bake until the milk is absorbed.
