Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoonoil
  2. 1/2chopped onion
  3. 1/2green bell pepper
  4. 1carrot
  5. 1potato
  6. 1 cuplentils
  7. 2 tablespoonstomato paste (I used Cirio) or you can use tomato puree
  8. 2-3 teaspoonspowdered bouillon

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Sauté 1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 chopped green bell pepper, 1 peeled and sliced carrot, and 1 peeled and diced potato in 1 tablespoon of oil.

    Add 1 cup of washed lentils, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste (I used Cirio) or you can use tomato puree, season with 2 or 3 teaspoons of powdered bouillon, and cover with water until it is about two fingers above the ingredients.

    If using a pressure cooker, cook for 20 minutes.
