Red lentils soup

Steps

In a bowl add red lentils and soak for 30 minutes.

Now transfer the soaked dal to a pressure cooker. Add salt and 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.

Once the pressure releases, cool completely and transfer to the blender. Add water and blend it.

Now, heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves and onion. Saute it for 2 minutes.

Add dal and turmeric powder. Mix well.

At last add coriander leaves and salt.

Serve it hot.
