I made spinach garlic naan without yeast with whole wheat and purpose flour, which turned out to be very soft and tasty than the hotel ones.
Steps
- 1
First, blanch the spinach leaves in boiling water for two minutes and make a paste. Now take wheat and purpose flour in a wide pot, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, ghee and curd and add spinach paste if necessary, add 2 spoons of water and knead the dough. Take it and apply oil on top and keep it covered for an hour.
- 2
Now knead it to make a uniform luva and keep other ingredients ready.
- 3
Now take the luvo and roll it into an oval shape, apply butter on it, spread kalonji, coriander and garlic and gently press it with a rolling pin.
- 4
Now apply water to the back of the naan and place that part on a hot iron. When it comes to baking, bubbles will start forming on the bread.
- 5
Then, with the help of tongs, hold the airon tawa upside down and roast the naan on all sides on direct gas and after it is cooked, take it out with the help of a tong.
- 6
Now green garlic butter naan with buttered vegetables and buttermilk is ready to serve.
