With just a few basic ingredients, you can make these adorable capybara cookies. They have a lovely cocoa aroma. Join the youth trend “Holding the house papers” everyone 😅🤣

Add the sweetened condensed milk to a bowl. Stir in the egg yolk until well combined.

Sift in the flour and baking powder. Knead for a few minutes until the dough forms a ball, then wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Mix well and divide into two large and small portions.

Add cocoa powder to one portion, making it darker. Divide the lighter portion into 10-20 equal parts, flattening them with a small head and a slightly larger body. Use the darker portion to make 2 pointed ears and 1 flat oval nose. Attach them to the body.

Place the capybara cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

Bake the cookies for 20 minutes at 300°F (150°C). Let them cool completely.

Heat 1/2 teaspoon butter and 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder, stirring to make ink for drawing eyes and noses.

Remove the cookies and let them cool. Use a sharp toothpick to draw eyes and noses on the cookies. Let them dry. 🥰 And you're done!

I tried making a few with green, red, and yellow dough to create a capybara wearing a Tết cake hat.
