Ingredients

  • For Gulab Jamun Dough:
  • 3/4 cupmilk powder
  • 1 tbsprava
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • For Filling:
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped almonds
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped cashews
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped pistachios
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped dates
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped dry dates
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped dry raisins
  • 1finely chopped jaldaru
  • 1 tbspfried gond
  • For Jaggery Syrup:
  • 1.5 cupskolhapuri jaggery
  • 2 cupswater
  • 4-5cardamom pods crushed
  • Ghee for frying

Steps

    Start by preparing the jaggery syrup. Mix the finely chopped dryfruits and gond in a bowl and aside.

    Now mix the milk powder with milk using a whisk in a non-stick pan, so that no lumps remain. Turn the flame on and add rava.

    Boil the mixture till it thickens and lessens a bit and add baking soda. Give a proper mix and cook until a dough like consistency forms and it starts leaving the pan.

    Now, for forming the jamun, take a small portion of dough? flatten a bit and add some stuffing in the middle. Cover all the sides and make a smooth ball.

    Fry the jamuns in ghee until they become dark brown.

  6. 6

    For the Jaggery syrup, add jaggery, water and cardamom pods and cook till half string. Deep the jamun into the syrup
