Ingredients

  • 1 CupRagi flour
  • 2 CupsWater
  • 1/2 TspSalt
  • 1/2 TspPeanut oil

  1. 1

    In a cooking bowl add 2 cups of water with salt. Don't lit the hot. Add 2 tsp of ragi flour and mix without lumps.

  2. 2

    Now lit the hob, stir the mixture in low flame. When it starts to bubble little bit add 1 cup of ragi flour and cook until done completely. If you use the wooden ladle it will be easy to mix. Once done switch of the flame, close the vessel and keep it aside for 10 minutes without disturbing.

    In a bowl, wipe the bottom with peanut oil. Now take the cooked ragi drop it in the bowl and roll until it comes to a ball shape.
    Ragi kali is ready to serve. You can serve with chutney, greens dal. Even it goes very will nonveg curries.
