Grated Daikon & Pork Patties

I didn’t know until recently that there are people who are intolerant of Onions, Garlic, Leeks, Chives and Spring Onions. It must be very difficult to find the safe food for them because those vegetables are very popular and used for many dishes. Finely chopped Onion is most likely added to the meat patties. Do you know finely grated Daikon (White Radish) is a good alternative? Particularly for Port patties. You won’t taste it, but Daikon creates soft texture and the patties taste good.

Steps
- 1
Peel Daikon, finely grate, drain using a strainer, and gently press to remove excess water. You don’t need to squeeze to remove all excess water. Place the grated Daikon in a mixing bowl.
- 2
Add all other ingredients, mix well to combine evenly, divide into 8 portions, roll into balls, and flatten into rounds or oblongs. *Note: You can make meatballs.
- 3
Heat a small amount of Oil in a frying pan and cook until both sides are nicely browned and cooked through. Enjoy with your favourite sauce if you like. *Note: Today I served with stir-fried Vegetables.
