Soak the urdal dal over night or for 4 to 5 hours.

Drain the water and make a fine paste in the mixer grinder add one green chilli while grinding

Peel the garlic

Now add water in the yoghurt and make a buttermilk of it. Add some besan and mix well

Put the kadie on low flame add oil,when oil get warm add mustard seeds, asafoetida,jeera curry leaves green chilli and garlic fry all these ingredients

Now add buttermilk which you made, and stir continuously add salt and sugar,Turmeric powder and jeera powder Add coriander leaves.

Take the grinded urdal dal mixture add some salt and pinch of baking soda and mix it well Now make small small vada from dal mixture

When kadi is boiling add small vada in the kadai let it cook this kadi for 6 to 8 min keep lead on the kadai to cook the small vada

When vada in the kadi is cooked serve hot with rice
