  • 1Semolina
  • 8 cupswater
  • 2 tbspyeast
  • 1 tbspBaking powder
  • Halftbsp salt
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • Warm water
  • Vegetable oil
  • For the soup seasoning
  • 1small size Star anise
  • Pinchcinnamon
  • Curry
  • Seasoning
  • Thyme
  • Pinchsugar
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic (optional)
  • For the kuli kuli
  • 1/2 cupkuli kuli
  • I tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbspseasoning
  • Pinchpepper
  • Garlic (optional)

Steps

    Add all dry ingredients together, and mix thuroughly

    Add warm water to make a paste, and the consistency should be like the video below

    Let it rest for 30 mins in a very warm place

    Preheat your masa pan, grease with vegetable oil, and add one full laddle of the batter to the preheat grease pan on a medium heat to avoid burning.

    Cook for 5 min or so this depends on the heat your using and also the pan, a very thick pan or a non stick masa pan. Thanks you so very much for this view I hope to see more followers please.

    If one side is done then flip to the other side.

    Use a chopstick or any clean stick, deep the stick inside the masa and if it comes out clean it means your masa is done, and if it comes out with a batter it's need a little bit time to be completely cooked.

    Caution: even if it's done it will come out with a little bit substance on it, so know the difference between batter and a cooked substance from the masa, don't mind the garlic I'm a garlic person it's not necessary.

    And you continue the process untill your done cooking your delicious masa.

    You can also use palm oil in your soup (red oil, manja) in your soup, and the sugar also I'm not a sugar person so you can add your sugar to your liking,

    And your masa can be served with so many things like, Taushe soup, Stew, Sugar, Kuli Kuli with vegetables or tea plain, you can serve with chill drink or tea. Enjoy

    This the kuli kuli recipe, you can see how fluffy the inside is, and the taste so good, Masha Allah.

    And for the soup seasoning, the soup you can serve masa with Agusi soup or Taushe soup.ENJOY
