Steps

First, ready all the ingredients. Wash, peel and dice one Totapuri raw mango. Ready all the dry masalas. To reduce the sourness, first cook the raw mango dices in 1 1/2 litres of plain water.

Cook for 2 minutes in plain water. This way sourness gets reduced and ultimately less sugar will be required in the recipe. Now in another pan take 4 tbsp sugar and 1/2 litre water and heat it. Mix to dissolve the sugar. Now add in the semi cooked raw mango pieces.

Add in chopped ginger.Cook for 3-4 minutes in the sugar syrup until raw mangoes are tender.

Cool this mixture completely. Add in lemon juice.(Lemon prevents hardening of the ice) Take it in mixer and crush it using some water if needed. (Note not to make it very thin)

Add in masala and churn to mix well. Transfer to a bowl and add in food colour(optional)

Mix well. Keep the syrup of flowing consistency.

Fill into moulds.

Insert wooden candy sticks. Set in freezer for 12-15 hours. Serve a lip smacking tasty CHATPATI KACHI KERI CHUSKI with family and friends. Happy 😊Cooking!!
