Remove the husk, wash, and chop the gooseberries.

Heat ghee, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.

Add chopped gooseberries and ginger; sauté for a while.

Cover and cook until the gooseberries turn soft and mushy.

Add red chili powder, coriander powder, sugar, and salt; mix and cook for a couple of minutes.

Turn off the heat and enjoy this sweet and tangy chutney with meals or snacks.
