10 minutes dessert

Well, to be honest, I just don’t know what to name this dessert! Since it is made in about 10 minutes, that’s what I decided to name it—10 Minutes Dessert.
Trust me you will love this dessert and will want to make it again and again during the summer. In fact, it is the perfect summer dessert as there is no slaving over the stove in the heat. Besides, with all that load-shedding going on in Pakistan, this is just what you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.
This is a pretty simple dessert to make and you will probably have all the ingredients at home. Apart from the gulab jamuns, this is optional. I would recommend you get some from the bakery to avoid making the simple syrup.
If you do not have cream, fear not; just use malai that you have been storing in the fridge. Now is the perfect time to use it! Sweetened condensed milk is also optional. I just used it for added sweetness.
To make the spreadable filling, combine cream/malai, powdered milk, condensed milk, some chopped gulab jamuns and chopped nuts. You can literally eat this filling as is! It is so addictive.
Spread the filling on the cut out of bread and dip in the syrup and finally coat in desiccated coconut. Garnish with nuts. And there you have your perfect, no-fuss 10 Minutes Dessert!
