Baked Veg. Bread Lasagna

Lasagna is my favourite dish . Here I have used bread slices in option of lasagna sheets. And wheat flour in white sauce as a healthy option. If you keep all basic prep ready, it is very easy to assemble. It is a one pot meal - loved by everyone. Do try 👍🏻

Steps

Chop veggies of your choice. Heat butter in a pan, add veggies, spices and salt. Saute it for couple of minutes. Keep it crunchy. Keep aside.

For pizza sauce, blanch tomatoes and make puree. Heat ghee in a pan, saute onion and garlic, add puree, sugar and salt. Let it cook till thick. Add all the sauces and herbs. Keep aside.

For white sauce, heat butter in a pan, add wheat flour and saute for couple of minutes. Add milk gradually and whisk it to make smooth. Add salt, sugar and cook it and stir continuously. After it thickens, add cheese and black pepper powder. Blend it.

Cut the edges of bread slices. Grease the mws flat bowl. Spread some pizza sauce over it.

Place bread slices on it. Spread pizza sauce over the slices. Spread sauteed veggies over it. Spread white sauce over the veggies

Spread a layer of cheese over it. Again place bread slices and make layers of pizza sauce, veggies and white sauce. Sprinkle mix herbs and chilli flakes.

Load it with both the cheese on top. Place it in the preheated oven at 200° for 10- 15 mins or as cheese melts and forms a crust in upper layer.

Serve it hot and enjoy oven baked lasagna...
