Soak red lentil dal for two hours. Drain out excess water.

In a mixer jar add lentils, chilli, coriander powder, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, onion pieces, garlic cloves, cumin seeds and grind coarsely.

To this add grated carrot and salt. Mix well.

Heat a pan.Add oil. Make kabab shape tikkis and shallow fry them from both sides.

Serve hot with any chutney or sauce.
