Gather all the prepared ingredients. Grate the paneer. In a skillet, heat ghee and sauté the onion.

When the onion turns light pink, add the ginger and green chili, and sauté. Add the bell pepper and cook until it softens. Add the chopped tomato and salt, and sauté.

Add the dry spices. Pour in 2 teaspoons of water and sauté.

Add the grated paneer, a little more water, and cook for 2 minutes. Add garam masala and dried fenugreek leaves, sauté briefly, and mix in.

Add lemon juice and fresh cilantro. Serve hot for dinner with soft parathas.
