Ingredients

Serves 6 servings
  1. 2.2 lbsground beef (1 kilogram)
  2. 2medium onions, finely chopped and drained of excess juice
  3. 1tomato, pureed
  4. 1garlic clove, minced
  5. 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  6. Chopped parsley
  7. 2 tablespoonscornstarch
  8. Salt and black pepper, to taste
  9. 1 packetkofta spice mix
  10. 3 tablespoonsvegetable oil

    In a bowl, combine all the kofta ingredients and mix well until you have a uniform mixture.

    In a separate bowl, mix the onion juice, tomato puree, oil, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir well. Use this mixture to brush the kofta occasionally while cooking.

    Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes, then shape the kofta into logs or fingers.

    Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) until fully cooked.
