Grilled Filets with Herb Butter and Caprese Tomatoes

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 pieces(about 170g each) Beef filet steaks
  2. 1 tspSalt
  3. 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  4. 1 tbspOlive oil
  5. 2 tbsp(for herb butter) Butter
  6. 1tbsp, finely chopped Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or your choice)
  7. 1large, sliced into rounds Tomato
  8. 100g, sliced Fresh mozzarella
  9. 5leaves, sliced thin Fresh basil
  10. 1 tbsp(optional) Balsamic glaze
  11. 1 tsp(for tomatoes) Extra olive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Season steaks with salt and pepper, brush with olive oil.

    Grill steaks over high heat, 3-4 min per side for medium-rare. Rest 5 min.

    Mix butter with chopped herbs for herb butter.

    Layer tomato and mozzarella slices on plates, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.

    Top tomatoes with fresh basil.

    Serve steaks with a dollop of herb butter and caprese tomatoes on the side.
