“In a medium-sized bowl, add sabudana, rinse well with water, then drain. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.”

“Heat a kadhai and add peanut oil or ghee (I used peanut oil). Once hot, add the chopped green chilies and sauté for 20 seconds. Add the chopped potatoes and fry for 1 minute.”

“When the potatoes turn golden brown, add the soaked sabudana, peanut powder, salt, and a pinch of sugar. Mix well, cover, and steam on low heat for 2 minutes.”

“Your vrat khichdi is ready. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve withcurd and enjoy.
