My Lazy Nikujaga - Japanese meat and potato

Heat the oil in a heavy duty casserole and fry the mince.

Cut the vegetables - potatoes into large chunks, the onion into 1/8, and the carrots into about an inch chunks. Add to the pan and toss them lightly.

Boil the noodles in a separate pan for a minute or two. Drain and put them on top of the meat and vegetables. Sprinkle all the seasonings, put the lid on and cook on a medium heat.

When steam starts to come out, turn down the heat to low and cook for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and serve with some boiled sugar snaps for some colour.
