Chop the onion and mince the garlic. In a pan heat oil, add minced beef and fry for 5 mins on high heat. Add salt and pepper and cook to get colour

Add bay leaf, stir. Add water and cover to cook for 2-3 hrs. Strain the broth and set aside the meat

To prepare roux - In a pan add butter and melt, add flour and keep stirring

Add the broth gradually to make the roux, add the cooked meat and mix well.

Add gelatin at this time and mix well, switch off the flame and freeze 24 hrs

In a plate add flour, in a bowl break eggs and whisk, on a plate add breadcrumbs

Take a meat ball, add to flour and coat well, add to whisked egg, add to breadcrumbs and coat well, again repeat with egg and breadcrumbs and set aside

Once done add to a plate

In a pan heat oil and add the balls, on medium flame fry and set aside

Plate on apricot, onion rings, mayonnaise and curry leaves and serve with Beer
Tips
24 hrs freezing is necessary to make the balls
