Ingredients

60 minutes
6-8 servings
  • 6-8 piecesDay-old donuts
  • 4Eggs
  • 2 cupsMilk
  • 1 cupHeavy cream
  • 1/4 cupSugar
  • 1 tablespoonVanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoonCinnamon
  • 1 teaspoonNutmeg
  • 1 dashAllspice
  • 1 dashCloves

Steps

60 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Cut donuts into bite-sized pieces and place in the dish.

  3. 3

    In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and spices.

  4. 4

    Pour mixture evenly over donuts. Press gently and let soak for 10-15 minutes or overnight.

    Cover and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 25-30 minutes until set and golden.

    Cool slightly before serving.
