Ingredients

20 mins
2 - 4 people (or just me lol)
  • 200 mlFull Milk
  • HalfWhite onion
  • 1/4 TspGrowned Cloves
  • 25 GrSalted Butter
  • 5 SlicesWhite Bread crust removed and made into crumbs
  • 100 mlCream (any ok)

  1. 1

    Put milk into a saucepant and add the onion - cook for 10 - 15 mins until the onion had softened. Then remove (I use it chopped into my stuffing or added to the gravy)

    Add the butter & Cloves on a low heat and allow to melt then add the bread and stir well - all the bread should "melt" without lumps. Add the cream and season with salt and pepper. I allow to cool now with some cling film on top of the sauce so a skin doesnt form. This really blends the flovours but you can use it immediatly.

    Reheat (REMOVE CLING FILM first) and serve warm - Amazing :P

Well I started with Cookpad during Covid....... Guess alot of us did, Amazing Site great to share with passitionate people. I have no formal training but have eaten in some of the best fine dinning restraunts in the world and also learnt from My mum and Grandma with "a pinch of" and "about a handfull" - if we share we love.
