Add water to a pot.

Add crushed ginger, fresh tulsi leaves, clove, cardamom, dalchini, and turmeric powder.

Now add khadisakhar. If you don't want, you can avoid it too.

Simmer on low flame for 10 minutes until reduced to half.

Strain and serve warm.

It works well when it is taken twice daily.
Tips
Crush the ginger with a mortar and pestle for better flavor. Use fresh tulsi leaves for a more aromatic kadha.
