Boil rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.

Heat oil/butter in a pan and sauté chopped garlic until fragrant.

Add gochujang and mix well.

Pour in cream and stir to make a smooth velvet-style sauce.

Add grated parmesan and pasta water to adjust the silkiness.

Add cooked rigatoni and toss well to coat.

Add basil, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer 1 minute.
