Steps

Mix curd and sugar until smooth. Add sunflower oil and mix well. Add vanilla essence and mix again.

Sift in self-raising flour. Use cut and fold method to combine. Add milk and mix gently until just combined.

Line a baking pan and pour in the batter.

Tap the pan gently to remove air bubbles. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 45 minutes.

Let cool, slice, and serve with tea or coffee.
Tips
Using mildly sour curd prevents spoiling the taste of the cake.
As it is mildly sweet, because I meant to serve with tea. You can adjust sweetness.
