Method:- (Homemade Cake Premix)
In a large mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, cornflour, milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Sift the mixture 3 to 5 times to ensure it is light and well combined.
Add vanilla essence powder (optional) and mix thoroughly.
Store the premix in an airtight container.Your homemade cake premix is ready - 2
Shelf Life :-
Room temperature: Up to 2 weeks
Refrigerator: 1–2 months
(You can also seal it in a food-grade packaging pouch for longer freshness.) - 3
How to Make Cake Using This Premix
Cake premix – 1½ cups
Milk – ¾ cup
Oil or melted butter – ½ cup
Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
Vinegar or soda water – 1 tablespoon
Mix all ingredients gently.
Pour into a greased cake tin and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes or until done - 4
Variations :-
Chocolate Cake: Add 2 tablespoons cocoa powder to the premix
Dry Fruits Cake: Add chopped nuts and raisins
Orange Cake: Replace milk with fresh orange juice.
