WITH Ramadhaan around the corner ,we can start thinking about healthier special ways our families ,children can maje them special and still be healthy inshaAllah!
These creamy dessert are lovely for ramadhaan,
Pacjed wuth nuts fir protein,and milk to get in those calcium inshaallah
Lovely ideas for ramadhaan or suhur inshaAllah
Alternatively u can use other cerial grains perhaps like barley and oats .but perhaps change quantities and possibly can adjust cooking method slightly too

Soak and rinse the rice, then parboil until half-cooked. Set aside.

In a medium pan, gently boil the milk. Add cardamom, saffron, pistachios, almonds, cashew nuts, orange zest, and sugar.

Boil until nuts soften but are not mushy.

Add the parboiled rice. Simmer until rice is fully cooked and the mixture thickens.

If too thick, add a bit more milk and simmer again.

Stir in a dash of butter for extra creaminess.

Serve in bowls, topped with extra nuts or dried fruits as desired.
Tips
For a healthier option, you can add just a bit of sugar and drizzle honey on top.
