Red orange lime soda

Nothing like a cold, lemony drink after a long day of fasting. Light and hydrating, this Red Orange Lime Soda has the ideal blend of sweetness, tang, and bubbliness. It's a simple homemade soda that has just the right amount of sweetness for iftar. Red oranges bring a subtle berry-like sweetness, lime adds a sharp zing, and sparkling water ties it all together for the ultimate refreshment.
Usually made by combining fresh blood orange juice, lime juice, and a sweetener (such as simple syrup) with soda water, a Red Orange Lime Soda is a cool, colorful, and sour effervescent beverage.
Regular oranges can be used in place of blood oranges, but the colour will be less vivid. Since it's a little hard to find red oranges in Canada, I used red syrup, such as rose syrup, in its place, which eliminated the requirement for sugar.
This recipe for a beautiful blood orange mocktail is incredibly easy to prepare and tastes amazing. You can make this in a matter of minutes using fresh blood orange juice, lime juice, and ginger ale or soda.
Drink recipes are made to be tinkered with so you can always adapt and find the mix of ingredients that work for you.
